One Direction hard at work
Now that One Direction’s window of relevancy is coming to an unfortunate close, its PR team is hard at work finding new ways to keep its client’s names in the media.

Immediately coming out with solo music? Yep. Hosting gigs lined up? Of course. Suspiciously looking PR relationships? No, duh.

Niall Horan has been rumored to be linked with singer/actress Selena Gomez; Zayn Malik just made his relationship with model Gigi Hadid Instagram official. You include this along with the fact that Harry Styles was once linked to Cara Delevingne and the ever ubiquitous Taylor Swift herself. It’s obvious that dating a member of Taylor Swift’s posse of model/actress friends seems to be the new “in” thing to do in young Hollywood.

Can’t fault any of these people though. More media exposure equals more money.

Star Wars Smashes Weekend Box Office
The force is clearly with the Star Wars franchise as it set a record breaking weekend.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, the newest installment to the Stars Wars saga, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, had audiences showing up in droves.

Moviegoers were lined up days ahead of the Thursday night premiere, dressed as Obi Wan, Princess Leia, and more.

According to BoxOfficeGuru, “Star Wars” had an all-time record of $120.5 million opening day gross, ousting the former record holder, “Harry Potter” which had a $21.1M in 2011.

The JJ Abrams directed film is looking to also break “Jurassic World’s” previous record of a 208.8M gross that was set just this past June.

Early reports are saying that the film brought in an astronomical $517M gross globally.

IN.SANE.

This comes after Disney went on media blitz over the past couple of weeks. But let’s be real, it’s Star Wars, people were going to camp out to see this film even if earlier reviews were horrific.

Steve Harvey is an idiot. Why? He just is.
Even on it’s way out the door, 2015 continues to give us gifts. It just had to go out with a bang.

Someone had the brilliant idea to give game show host, Steve Harvey, the Miss Universe hosting gig. The one thing that he or she neglected to remember? He isn’t a good host.

The main reason people watch Family Feud nowadays is to catch what idiotic tomfoolery comes out of his mouth and his meme-worthy reactions.

So it shouldn’t have come as a surprise that during the most pivotal pageantry moment of the year, Harvey would do what he does best, deliver great television.

Lights dim, dramatic background music plays. The winner is about to be crowned. HOWEVER, in what is now one of the biggest pageant screw ups in the past decade, Harvey calls out the wrong name.

Hysteria ensues.

Then to make matters worse, the Harv couldn’t even spell the two finalist’s countries correctly in his apology tweet.

Was anyone surprised that Harvey said something stupid? No.

Was anyone surprised that he managed to fumble over himself on what was possibly his biggest hosting gig to date? Nope.
