Crime Report week 8/20-8/26: Larceny plagues the campus

August 20, 2018

At 1:06 a.m., a VSU student reported being struck by a relative of an ex-girlfriend at Langdale Hall. The incident is still under investigation.

At 5:28 p.m., a VSU student reported a sexual assault at Langdale Hall. The crime was marked as sexual assault, but the incident is still under investigation.

August 21, 2018

At 4:24 p.m., an unknown subject took several textbooks from the VSU bookstore without paying for them. The crime was marked as larceny, but the incident is still under investigation.

At 6:34 p.m., a student reported theft of a bicycle outside of the student union. The crime was marked as larceny, but the incident is still under investigation.

At 10:14 p.m., UPD encountered a student smoking marijuana at the Camelia Trail. The crime was marked as drug law violation, but the incident was cleared by arrest.

August 25, 2018

At 1:46 p.m., a VSU student reported to UPD that someone threw a milkshake on her car as it was parked in the Oak St. Parking lot. The crime has been marked as vandalism to which the disposition is still open.
