Former student found dead

   Carlton Quintez “Tez” Wimbish, a former VSU student who pursued a mechanical engineer major, died on Jan. 1.   Authorities believe it was suicide, but the case is still under investigation by the Valdosta Police Department, said Lt. Faculty Senate approves prayer recommendation

  The Faculty Senate met Nov. 18, and approved a prayer recommendation by majority vote.
