At 8:05 p.m. Sunday, VSU’s campus alert sent out the following message:
“VSU Police received a report of a gunshot at apartment on N. Oak, near campus. VSU Police and Valdosta City Police are investigating.”
By 8:22 p.m. another message went out.
“At 8:15 p.m. VSU Police issued an all clear on the gunshot fired at local apartment. Valdosta City Police are still investigating.”
