Valdosta State fell behind early to Armstrong Atlantic Tuesday night, but bounced back to win the second set. After dropping the third set, VSU gained its composure and won sets four and five for the win (20-25, 25-20, 14-25, 25-20, 15-10) and to move to 5-3 on the season.
The home crowd was behind the Lady Blazers throughout all five sets and the team caught momentum in the fifth.  Saulter put up 36 assists while Hope Ripsam pitched in 20 to bring the team total to 58, 10 more than Armstrong Atlantic.
Chelsea Luttfring cleaned the floor for VSU, notching 32 digs on the night. She had at least 10 more than any player from both teams. Ruthie King added 17 while Hannan earned 16 digs. Saulter notched 15 digs.
