Wild Adventures Theme Park has announced new additions to be shown in the new year.
These additions include a new restaurant, live music venue, partnership with Georgia Beer Company, new and expanded festivals, new nighttime events and new animal attraction.
“The newest additions to Wild Adventures in 2022 will be a new restaurant and entertainment venue called Water’s Edge Brews & Bites and a large animal habitat called Wanyama Overlook,” Adam Floyd, marketing communications manager at Wild Adventures, said.
According to Floyd, Wild Adventures experienced a record attendance in 2019 and are continuing to build on that success.
“Our guests have been asking for an addition like Water’s Edge for a long time, and we are excited to partner with Georgia Beer Company to make that a reality,” said Floyd. “Couple that with our new seasonal events and Wanyama Overlook, and we are definitely positioned to see our attendance continue its trend of yearly growth.”
The park will open for the 2022 season on March 19 with the debut of a brand new spring festival, Shamrock the Park.
“Shamrock the Park is going to be a blast for both young children and their parents,” said Jon Vogue, vice president and general manager of Wild Adventures. “We will bring Irish charm to Wild Adventures with great music around every corner and activities for the kids.”
The festival will include a scavenger hunt for kids, live music, a festival parade, authentic Irish menu items at park restaurants and more.
Wild Adventures will also be expanding their annual Easter Eggstravaganza over two weekends. It will include a new Easter parade, new activities and a hunt for over 100,000 candy-filled eggs.
The All-Star Summer Concert Series will return with performances from over 12 big-name artists. The lineup will be announced in February 2022.
Starting in June, the park will stay open late every Friday night with live music around the lake and a family-friendly dance party in Splash Island. This will go for June and July of 2022.
Along with a firework display every Friday night in July.
Wild Adventures will also be open more days than previous years. The park is said to be open for all day operations on weekdays starting in June.
There is also a new three-tier season pass program being offered that includes a Gold Pass. This includes free soda all year.
