Crime Report 9/24-9/30: Theft runs rampant at VSU

September 24, 2018

At 4:40 a.m., a non-student was arrested and charged with DUI, Stop Sign Violation, and Open Container following a traffic stop on W. Mary St.

At 6:00 a.m., a student reported that her vehicle was broken into and items were taken at Sustella parking deck.

At 1:13 p.m., a student reported his vehicle was broken into and items were taken from the Centennial West parking lot.

At 1:23 p.m., a student reported the theft of a cellphone from a restroom in the P.E. Complex.

September 25, 2018

At 2:17 p.m., a non-student was arrested and charged with Driving on a Suspended License and Improper Tag Display.

September 26, 2018

At 10:21 a.m., a staff member reported finding 5 fire extinguishers that were discharged and thrown in the creek at Azalea Trail.
