Say “Ni Hao” to the newest store in Valdosta Mall called Miniso. 

Originally founded in China, this store is making its way across America and has finally arrived at the Valdosta Mall. 

On a recent weekday, a group of young girls between the ages of 16 to 20 looked inside. One exclaimed, “This is totally amazing!” 

Opening its doors on Jan. 18, Miniso is filled with every cute collector’s dream, including soft lit pastels and charming trinkets galore. 

 According to one staff member, the store was extremely busy for the first two weeks it was in operation. Crowds have slowed down somewhat, he said, but foot traffic is steady.  

The attention-grabbing shop is filled with Disney, Sanrio characters, anime, BTS merchandise, and much more. It is filled with almost anything for anyone looking for that fun and cute vibe. There are also plushies and keychains, perfume, bathmats, mini trash bins, makeup and various snacks. 

According to the Valdosta Mall website, Miniso is a “prominent lifestyle brand that brings elevated style and quality to consumers at an affordable price. (It offers) must-have gadgets and products for home, tech and beauty, with new products being presented weekly.” 

Miniso is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
