Fall break is now behind us all and it’s time to get back on the grind in the job world.

Graduation is literally seven weeks away from some students and the holiday season is approaching rapidly for those of you who want some part time cash.

So as we all kick it in gear to finish off the semester strong, get your notepads handy as well to pencil down these jobs that you may want to apply for.

If brown is in your dress code and packaging is your thing, apply to           UPS of Valdosta as a Seasonal Driver Helper.

The hours vary Monday through Friday anywhere from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Being that this job is seasonal, it will only last from Thanksgiving to Christmas. So if you plan on being around in the Valdosta area during the holidays, you may need to apply.

Creative people who can juggle more than one project at a time should definitely be interested in applying as a full time Graphic Designer.

The salary ranges from $10 to $16 an hour and is located in Valdosta. All majors are welcomed and two to five years of experience is required in Adobe’s Creative Suite and Quark Express.

Those of you looking to graduate with or currently have a degree in Accounting should apply to work as a Staff Auditor for the Education Audit Division.

There are two openings one in Douglass and Statesboro that will pay a salary starting at $40,008.

The Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts is looking to hire by mid-December. So get those resumes together and apply.

Visit Career Services located on the second floor of Powell Hall West to apply for any of these jobs. If you want to view other jobs available online, visit their website at http://www.valdosta.edu/career/

While you all are out there, remember this quote from Thomas A. Edison. Everything comes to him who hustles while he waits.
