Hello World—Anthony here yet again bringing you all the things in Hollywood and beyond that had us buzzing this past week.

 In flip floppers who aren’t on the presidential ballot (I’m looking at you Mitt Romney), everyone’s favorite non couple Chris Brown and Rihanna are rumored to be getting back together.

 The news of the on again off again couple reuniting heated up last week when they were spotted at the Barclay’s center for Jay Z’s concert.

 A few days after being spotted at the concert it was reported that Brown dumped his girlfriend at the time, Karrechue Tran.

 Following news of the breakup, Brown released a video proclaiming his love for both women and simply stated what everyone already assumed– he was in a love triangle.

 Shake my head. Lord knows what’s going to happen with these two. While Breezy and RiRi get all cozy in New York, poor Karreuche is left looking like Boo Boo the fool.

 Speaking of Boo Boo the fool, two of the biggest egos in music came to a powerful collision last Tuesday when Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey got into a verbal.

 The argument, which was captured on camera and promptly posted on TMZ.com, shows the two ladies getting into a confrontation at the judges table with fellow judge Keith Urban stuck in the middle.

 In the video Minaj can be seen and heard berating Carey and throwing a slew of expletives at her.

 “I told them, I’m not going to be putting up with her f****** highness over there,” Minaj responded in an interview.

 Other reports suggested that Minaj threatened to shoot Carey, but that part was not captured on video.

 It is rumored that the whole thing started over a disagreement about a contestant for the show. After the argument, filming was canceled for the rest of the day to allow the ladies to calm down.

In other news, Fox quickly released a statement acknowledging the fact that the altercation took place and that filming of the reality show juggernaut was canceled for the day and would resume the following day.

 I’m a little torn on this one. While Minaj’s actions are no way acceptable, it has been reported that Carey can be somewhat of a diva. Maybe we will just have to chalk this one up to one of Minaj’s alter egos getting out of line. Roman must not have taken his meds.

 All is not lost for Minaj though. The colorful rapper/singer leads the pack of nominees with her frenemy Rihanna for most nominations at this year’s American Music Awards.

 Other nominees included Justin Bieber, One Direction, Maroon 5, Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson.

 The award show kicks off on Nov. 18 on ABC at 8 p.m. No performances have been announced, but a rumor is swirling around that Christina Aguilera will open the show with her new single “Your Body.”
