“Yes I do, to meet the teacher and find out what the teacher is like, and to show you’re going to be attending class,” said Jake Jones, a senior finance major.

“Yes, to make sure I know what I need to know for the year,” said Hannah Watkins, a junior exercise physiology said.

“Yes, because it’s important to make a good impression,” Elisabeth Batchelor, a freshman English major said.

“Yes,” Jose De Leon, a freshman music education major said. “Save an absence, figure out the books I need, and maybe get a good nap here or there.”

“Yes, to learn all of the teacher’s policies and the syllabus,” said Molly Deal, a freshman exercise physiology major.

“Yeah,” said Khrys Craddock , a freshman theatre major. “First impressions. You don’t want to start off on the wrong foot.”
