VSU has announced a student service program this semester called Mental Minutes. The VSU Counseling Center offers the Mental Minutes student service to faculty. Valdosta aims to change the conversation on homelessness

On Friday, April 20 Joni Staton, mental health benchmark coordinator, hosted a quarterly community collaborative conference that addressed and aimed to increase the awareness surrounding Valdosta’s  homelessness, mental health and substance abuse issue.
