Farewell DJ AM, R.I.P., welcome back Whitney

OK, I’m not going to talk about Michael Jackson being buried this week, or Jon & Kate Plus Eight’s crazy saga of divorce and relationships, or even Octomom’s crazy shenanigans on her new reality show. People are tired of hearing about it but they just won’t stay out of the news. I’m willing to talk about something else… anything else.
Unfortunately, Hollywood lost another celebrity favorite. DJ AM, otherwise known as Adam Goldstein, was found dead in his New York apartment last Friday. The popular celebrity turntablist died from a drug overdose; however it has not yet been proven accidental or otherwise.  Ironically, DJ AM had his first brush with death last September, with a horrific plane crash alongside celebrity drummer and friend Travis Barker, of Blink-182. DJ AM was buried on Wednesday at

3 p.m. at the Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in West Los Angeles, Calif.
Oh,  remember that famous R&B singer from the ‘80s and ‘90s with the amazing voice? What was her name again? Oh yeah Whitney Houston! She’s back, or at least is trying her best to come back. Whitney had her first performance in years on “Good Morning America” Tuesday. Her once praised voice cracked during each of her four songs, due to laryngitis. She actually apologized to the audience and blamed her cracked voice on Oprah. She claimed that she talked all day on “The Oprah Winfrey” talk show. Whitney’s new comeback album “I Look to You” was released Tuesday.
LeAnn Rimes finally announced her divorce from husband, Dean Sheremet, of seven years. I believe the speculations of the affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, early last fall, are what led to the sad (but not really) demise of the couple. To make for an even more scandalous story, Cibrian also filed for divorce from his wife, Brandi Glanville, last week. Rimes and Cibrian then announced their relationship as being official.
So it’s been a little slow these past couple of weeks in the entertainment biz. I’m just asking for a few crazy celebs to admit a drug problem, get arrested with a DUI, or check into rehab. No, not really… but really. Please. Is that just too much to ask for?
