Crime Report 3/5-3/19: A wave of thefts go unchecked

At 3:41 p.m., a student reported theft of a bookbag from a bench near the basketball court.

Mar. 6, 2018

At 2 p.m., a student reported being pushed and slapped by a known person. The subject is not a current VSU student. Case turned over to Investigations.

At 2:18 p.m., a student reported theft of a notebook that occurred during the Fall Semester.

At 3:55 p.m., a student reported theft of $60 cash from a table outside of Nevins Hall during an organizational fundraiser.

Mar. 11, 2018

At 11:58 a.m., a student reported subjects trying to steal bicycles from outside of Fine Arts Building. Subjects fled upon officer arrival. Bikes tagged as evidence. Case turned over to Investigations.

At 3:47 p.m., a student reported that a subject known to her withdrew money from her bank account without her permission.

At 4:47 p.m., a student reported the loss/theft of a laptop computer from his residence hall or somewhere on main campus.
