Crime Report 8/11-8/18: DUIs and larceny mark the board

At 12:27 a.m., a non-student was arrested after a traffic stop on Baytree Rd. The perpetrator was charged with Obstruction of Officers, driving without headlights and giving a false name to an officer.

At 3:40 a.m., The VSU Police Department assisted county and city officials in responding to a crash at the intersection of Baytree Road and N. Oak Street. They arrested a non-student for a DUI as a result.

At 7:33 p.m., A VSU student reported the theft of their purse from Palms Dining Hall.

August 14, 2018

At 5:47 p.m., UPD responded to a report of a stolen bicycle outside of Pound Hall. The victim was a student.

August 17, 2018

At 10:26 a.m. A VSU staff member reported that someone passed bad checks at the VSU Bursary.

At 1:16 p.m. later that day, A VSU staff member that someone passed bad checks at the VSU Bookstore.
